Memory Lane

Updated: May 22, 2020

I remember this picture like it was yesterday. We drove to the top of a mountain town (Reading,PA) lookout point to just get away. It was the last time I ascended that mountain before I moved back to Michigan after my 5 year stint in the Philadelphia area. I recall looking out and reflecting on my experience. I had some anxiety about the next chapter of my life. Luckily, I met some great people who really enhanced my drive to follow my passion. This is really where my blind passion to effectively motivate people to be their best took shape.

I‘ve heard people say , “Don’t dwell on the past.” In my opinion looking back is the key to humbling you. To recall how far you’ve come is a major gauge of growth. Self reflection can be a powerful motivator. I believe we get the biggest takeaway from our experiences by reflecting on them. The good, bad and ugly experiences all have something unique to offer.

Take time once a week to sit back and appreciate all that you have accomplished. We all have the potential to grow but what is growth without the story that molded it⁉️Stay positive and stay healthy Fitfam.
